Al Jarreau and the Airmen of Note
Great concert by Al Jarreau. I listened to his stuff for years so was thrilled to see a free concert with him backed by the Airmen of Note. This was very fortunate in that on July 23, 2010 Jarreau was critically ill at a hospital in France, while in the area to perform a concert at nearby Barcelonnette, and was being treated for respiratory problems and cardiac arrhythmias. Lesson is to see your heros while you can...
